Qwilt required a creative partner to help imagine and build an iconic visual identity to match their unique global brand. They sought an agency with sound brand methodology in order to develop a rich style framework that would streamline everyday design support for and within this fast-growing international business.

Their model is built on partnerships with service providers and content publishers, globally, to create a fabric that powers high-performance delivery of media and applications at the very edge of neighbourhoods, large and small.

Our response, driven by research and insight, was to develop a brand persona and identity that set Qwilt apart from their competitors and became an instantly recognisable global identity. Inspired by their logo and brand architype, we developed a unique graphic pattern integrated with iconography. The flexibility of the illustrative pattern ensured its practical usage across all marketing touchpoints in digital and traditional formats.

Understanding Qwilt’s brand architype led to the creation of ‘The qwilt’, a tapestry style graphic pattern interwoven with a distinct set of symbols which tells a unique narrative about Qwilt.
This illustrative artwork formed the basis of Qwilt’s visual identity along with a bespoke font, corporate & secondary colour palette and exclusive image library.
The use of the brand elements across all marketing collateral and corporate environments are clearly outlined in a concise style guide and brand in practice document.

The Qwilt website simply navigates the visitor through their product and service offering and utilises animations and video to create a visually attractive and practical information portal.
The all-important visitor journey is led by either the visitor persona or product & service ensuring navigation is obvious, easy and relevant to the individual. Regular updates ensure that repeat visits are met with fresh content.
